Rev. Dr. Kevin Gregory
Kevin is originally from the suburbs of Chicago where he attended Elmhurst College and received his bachelor’s degree in theology and psychology. After undergraduate school, he went on to receive his Master of Divinity degree from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis. During Kevin’s theological training, he served at Alton Memorial Hospital and completed an accredited Unit of Clinical Pastoral Education from St. Louis, A.C.P.E., at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Before accepting the call to be Senior Pastor of St. John United Church of Christ in Manchester, Kevin served churches in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. When Kevin is not working or studying, he is playing with his children, enjoying long talks with his wife, exercising at the YMCA, or golfing. Rev. Janet Pillman
Janet is a St. Louis native with 21 years of experience in ordained ministry with the United Church of Christ. She began her ministry at St. John UCC in March of 2006. A graduate of Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves, Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and Kirkwood High School, she has served in a variety of denominational settings including Presbyterian, Unitarian, Methodist and UCC. Janet oversees the education program for all children and youth of St. John UCC, from infants in the nursery through the senior high youth group. She also oversees educational programming for adults, which includes Saturday brunch programs, Bible studies, as well as spiritual workshops and retreats.
